Check owner statements in Claude

Reconify reads an owner statement and tells you whether its numbers hold up. As a Claude connector it does that inside your conversation: attach a statement, ask whether it's right, and Claude sends the statement's lines to Reconify and reads you the result, with the arithmetic shown.

Add it

  1. In Claude, open Customize → Connectors, then Add → Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Reconify and paste this URL:https://slipstream.rentals/api/reconify/mcp?ref=guide
  3. Choose Add, then Connect. There's no sign-in: Claude detects that Reconify needs no account.

Ask it

Attach the statement PDF and ask. Name Reconify: on a short statement Claude may do the arithmetic itself otherwise. Claude asks once before it sends anything to the connector. For example:

  • “Check this owner statement with Reconify.”
  • “Use Reconify to tell me what the 25% commission on this statement was taken from.”
  • With Hospitable's connector added too: “Check my August statement against my Hospitable reservations for August with Reconify.”

What it checks

Does it add up?
Income minus costs against the net income or payout the statement prints.
Percent of what?
Whether the commission was taken from rent, rent plus cleaning, or rent after the booking site's fee, and which bookings were charged a different rate.
Cleaning at cost?
What share of the cleaning fees guests paid went to housekeeping.
The booking site's fee
As a share of rent plus cleaning, named by fee structure where it matches one, and any booking charged off the usual rate.
Against your reservations
With reservations from your booking system: bookings on only one side, and rent that differs.

What it doesn't do

  • It fetches nothing. It checks only what Claude sends it, and Claude sends what you've attached or what another connector returned. It stores none of it.
  • Claude reads the statement and sorts its lines into rent, cleaning, fees, commission and costs before sending them. If a line could be read two ways, ask Claude which way it read it.
  • The upload page reads the file itself and goes further: every section's subtotal, new and stopped charges month to month, costs against typical ranges, and a page you can come back to.
